POST-PRODUCTION
I was brought in to handle post-production on Desi Oon, a stop-motion animated film by Studio Eeksaurus. This unique project came with it’s own set of unique technical challenges. Unlike traditional stop-motion cleanup, we had to preserve the natural texture of the wool, so generating it digitally was not an option. To tackle this, I developed a custom workflow using Photoshop and After Effects, which involved fast paced rotoscoping across entire scenes to meet tight deadlines.
I am incredibly grateful to Teena, Neel, Kush, Aman, and Mark for their relentless commitment, none of it would have been possible without them. And of course, the amazing team behind the props, lighting, animation, and everything else whom we were ultimately supporting.
